Hey everyone, I’ve found a Scuderia that has most of my requirements except for the stripes, they’re in gold but I want the grey with black outline. Is it possible to change the color of the strips with good quality stickers and make it look factory? Like is it a common thing Scuderias owners do? I’ve found places selling stripes online but they’re for F430 owners wanting a Scuderia look so not sure if they would cover the original stripes perfectly or not and not sure if it would look cheap or not.

Any info on this would be appreciated. Thanks!

Didn't mean repainting, I meant are there some high quality decals or solutions that would allow me to change the color of the stripes without looking tacky

find a high end vinyl / wrap shop in your area. In my area it's done by the high end detail shops, e.g. http://www.kcelitecarcare.com/
They'll be able to talk you through options.

Anything is possible with enough resources. They can wrap the entire car including adding new stripes, or they can do a custom stripe that covers the existing painted one.

Simple answer is Yes. A good wrap shop could do it no problem.

Any good wrap shop absolutely can do this. The problem you have is the stripes aren’t just painted on, they are completely flush with the body color (no raise). When I showed my Scud to my good buddy who owns a high-end body shop he continued to comment around how hard of a paint job that is and how amazing it looks.

I’ve had a couple friends who are also high end enthusiasts run their finder over mine, then comment that it’s “real”. I guess many who add stripes later either through decals or have it painted on and it’s never flush. These are people who do not have the special edition Ferraris but like the look of the stripe.

My advice would be to be patient and find a car with the gray stripes in the spec you want.

Just to add to my previous comment - depending on your purchase price and intended use case I would strongly advocate clear wrapping the entire thing anyways, at which point addressing the stripes as part of that wrap (and integrated into it) is a non-issue.

around that $200k price point that most Scud's are sitting at the investment in a paint correction + clear wrap + ceramic coating is basically a no brainer, in my view, unless you're talking about a lower price point and you're intending to make it primarily track in which case I'd still wrap the front at minimum...
