New 360 owner, 2000 Modena. It currently has a Tubi exhaust but not loud enough for me. I ordered Capristo test pipes, to be delivered tomorrow. From all I've read and seen, the rear bumper needs to be removed when removing the stock exhaust but what about when it is a Tubi? Looking at it, I need to remove the rear wheels and undertray to access the exhaust bolts, and then the bolts holding the muffler to the support bar. Not sure if there is enough clearance to move the whole muffler assembly back to slip off the cats and then put in the test pipes. Thanks in advance for any insight.
I didn't have a tubi but had to remove the rear bumper and wheel to in stall my 200 cell cats.i also changed out some of the heat shielding while I was in there they where looking pretty beat. test pipes shld do the trick...tubi also makes test pipes (pretty sure) if u want to stick with one brand
Thanks for the replies. I was in fact able to get them out completely from above and then snake the test pipes in. Took me like 5 hrs total - out with the cats and in with the test pipes.
Second drive triggered the CEL even with 02 extenders, but not really that concerned- doesn't need emissions here being that it is 20 yrs old. Sounds way better now though!
can you post or DM me of video the sound...i can send you a clip of what topspeed headers/topspeed 200 cell cat/Capristo 3 sounds like if ur interested...
if you do a mase tune he can adjust for the cel and you will feel a real difference in the seat of your pants
