    2002. Saw the car today, test driving on Friday while it gets some work done:

    Sticky buttons fixed
    3 year major service recently done
    New tires
    New brakes
    New battery

    I tried some google-fu to find things I need to be watchful for but didn't really come up with much, other than pre-cats which they said there was no noise so it's unlikely that it would be a problem.

    Some swirl marks in the paint and doesn't have a clear bra.

    Any recommendations for anything? What does it cost to get swirl marks fixed?

    Congrats! The swirlies will buff right out. Stay away from plastic wrapping your car IMHO. Expensive, and over time it uglies out. Then you have to remove it which is gosh awful on your paint, etc.

    If you must do it, maybe the very front of the car.
