Good input. No need to rush this. I’m sure most clients would be willing to wait for a known solid delivery time. under promise... over deliver.. and they will line up around the corner
Yes, I did end up getting the Chargeback, and having it all dealt with. Was not a pleasant experience, but, it was resolved, which is why I haven't really made too much of a mention of it otherwise. Just wanted to put it behind me. Hopefully Art has improved, I think it's great that he's putting out a kit like this, just, I wish my experience was different.

ttforcefed, This is stand up what you are doing here. These boys live along way from San Antonio, Texas and its great that the community can help one another in such a manner (even though you are not That close either....) Art seems busy as can be from what I see/hear. I will be ready for the manual swap in late October. I hope the line is not to long by then. San Antonio is exactly 3 hours from me so I am local. (At least in my opinion) I am looking forward to speaking with Art and having a satisfying ending for everyone. Cheers, Mat Houston, TX

Way to go above and beyond for your friend Art and for our fellow forum members. You were under no obligation to intervene but stepped up and provided invaluable help to people on both sides of a transaction you weren’t even involved with. There was nothing in this for you other than a genuine desire to help. Wish there were more people like you around. If you’re ever in south Florida, I will buy you a drink!
thanks scott. just to be crystal clear though, because it has already been insinuated that i'm benefiting from being constructive regarding Art, i met him a few weeks ago when i ordered my 430 aftermarket kit. i was a huge fan of the scud conversion and had known of EAG because of that. Art didnt know me from adam prior to me ordering the kit, and for whatever reason he and his guys were very communicative and transparent with me. We certainly may end up as friends, just like me and bradan, P1, but that takes years and not days. that said, i am not passing judgement on Art's history as it had nothing to do with me. So far, the evidence ive seen wrt my interactions have all been humble and redeeming. Helping out fellow enthusiasts in our community should be a minimum!
Freedom is another word for nothing left to lose. Just because Ferrari ****ed up, there’s no reason for the rest of us to die on the cross. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
also worth mentioning dan normal guy supercar is a valuable resource that Art has embraced arms wide open. I think they have the capacity to make 1 + 1 = more than 2. i'll let Dan opine if he cares to, but i do think that relationship has synergies and that will benefit all of us customers/consumers.
That’s why I follow you. There’s more than cars here and I appreciate how you extended both your credibility and wisdom to Art. It’s easy to write off people and assign malevolent intent - especially for people with a “past.” Many successful shop owners, technical specialists etc lack the business acumen to handle unexpected success. And they also get taken advantage of. This community is what we make it and you made it a better place. Now about those 36 cars ........ ScottS Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
appreciated. it's looking like Art should be caught up with kits and his in house current conversions in the next 2 weeks. Fwiw, in speaking to one customer (he is a member here so he can contribute if he cares to) the in house conversion is very close to being on schedule. i think it makes sense for Art to take a breather and re-evaluate all the moving pieces, so dont be surprised if you try placing an order and he asks you to call back in a cple weeks.
I can confirm my car is on schedule and I should get it back soon. Great collaboration on this - thank you ttforcefed & Art.
Good to see this getting sorted out. I believe in their product, and want them to succeed. I'm sure being a sales guy for gated swaps is a fairly straightforward prospect... salesman - hi! client - hello.... I'm inquiring about a gated swap.. salesman - here you drive.... client - OK.... vroom clack, clack clack.... vrooom... clack clack.... salesman - so? client - here's my checkbook.
Ha! Art has some interesting stuff in the pipeline. Im happy there has been progress wrt our fchat brethren! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
