512TR Fog lights have become prohibitively expensive the last 10 years.... What is everyone using to protect them from rock chips?

I saw an old thread talk about laminX; but at least from their website it doesn’t look like they offer different thicknesses anymore.

I used to get Griots Garage film by the foot, but they don't make it anymore. It was 20mil thick.

I have used X-Pel and/or Lamin-X on everything (trucks and Ferrari). Make a cardboard template of your fog lights, and cut to size. I had a layer of clear, then a second layer of yellow on my fog lights (328 GTS) and I liked the look, and it worked well. X-pel has become too expensive to ship to Alaska, so I use Lamin-X now.

Cheaper shipping to buy it through Amazon.

LaminX will sell a 20mil if requested for the same cost (Default is 12mil). I ordered two 6”x12” and will see how it goes.
