    That makes a lot more sense than "it's not modern enough".

    I met him at the Top Gear Live event in Melbourne in 2010, we ran the Lola Indy car on their "test track". James loved the Lola and struck me as a complete old car enthusiast. He was very knowledgable about Lola's and early British race car manufacturers. I would describe him as a true enthusiast, as Klink would say.

    the give-away with the XK120 looks like the headlight area looking down its far from correct.
    The E-type is a RS panels car . about the best of the fakes providing the roof line is correct.
