Hello my friends. I love seeing new threads with the title of “my new 458”. They are my favorite to read. I have been looking for 9 months. The chase has been great. I love waking up every morning and seeing what new cars are available. I will miss that part of it. But the car appeared. And I jumped. Exactly what I wanted. Well kept. One owner. Great condition. This is my first Ferrari and the car is so much more in person. Fell in love with her instantly and she is beautiful. Smells amazing. Timeless elegant lines and sounds and performs above expectations. Such an emotional experience. Was a fabulous day flying out from Denver to see her and drive her. Any and all Colorado owners please don’t hesitate to reach out. Would love to meet, drive with and learn from you all. Congratulations on the new family member. May you enjoy the many s-miles it will give you. Blessings and wishes of good health.
Welcome to the club Nice spec on her how many miles? I too loved the hunt for my first Ferrari Enjoy the ride in good health
Congratulations! I was just at Ferrari of Silicon Valley two Saturdays and was checking out that exact car! I was there finishing the spec on my F8 spider. I also recent created a ‘my first Ferrari’ thread as I purchased a Nero Daytona 458 a couple months ago. Love the Goldrake seats. Enjoy!
What I don't understand and can't even imagine... How does anybody part from such a beautiful iconic piece of art and engineering.... You can "upgrade" but it will never be the same... Mind you I don't own one... I wanted an F8 first, maybe an 812 next.vs 458... If I could house them plus the other for 7 I have, I would get the 812 and 458... But I'd be lucky to sleep in the house in I had one more after the F8... My house needs to be smaller and the garage bigger. That will be my next home, small... 3 (4 at the most) Bedrooms with bathrooms, small living room, small kitchen and a large garage... No receiving/atrium or foyer.
Congratulations and welcome to 458 owners club! My car is specced almost identically. You will love it. Drive safe and enjoy!
Front lift would have been nice but I am not worried about it. Will get some curb ramps if needed. Congrats on yours. This is going to be such a fun car! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I do not know why he wanted to sell, but he was the type of Ferrari owner I want to be: Took great care of her but drives her like one should. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app

Big congrats, and welcome to the cult! One experience ends and another begins..... Drive it often and enjoy in good health!
I wasn't dogging on him particularly. What I say is why would anybody get rid of a car that (in my opinion) will be highly sought out at high prices. If you look at some of them, they are already approximating 488 prices... That is a sign...
Thanks my friend! I remember when you got your lady in mugello! I originally was looking for a rare or metallic red and was hoping to find a fuoco. But the priority was always a well kept car that spoke to me. And seeing her in person was an instant connection and I have no regrets. We all have waited too long, no? And because of you I checked those seats out top to bottom! And I have a 15 yo son who loves cars who has no idea that this pretty lady is on her way! I can only imagine how that trip back with your son was. Once in a lifetime trip. Take care and drive safe! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
And I wasn’t assuming you were, at all. Just some people finally find that Pista, no? And yes, I was starting to get a little impatient and started looking at 488s. I thought there were some nice cars and saw GTBs for the price of 458 spiders. I drove a 488 and an F8 and while they have more kick they lack the emotion I need. Did not make me smile and laugh like the 458 does. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
