    1982 Mercedes 380SL
    61k miles

    Mechanically sound and runs well. Purchased from original owner in 1986. It has been garage kept most of its life. AC needs to be recharged. Has 3 small “dings” that I can see. (You can see in last 3 pictures). Could use a nice wax. But overall very nice! Comes with an indoor and outdoor cover. Comes with original hard top, and hard top stand for storing the hardtop . Clean and Clear title.

    Looks like a really nice example.

    I had an '82 in Orient Red over Beige. Loved that car.

    Solid doesn't even begin to describe it. The sound of those doors closing... my god it was like a bank vault.

    Compared to the modern wide cars these SL models are such a tidy size.
    My favourite was a silver 1988 560SL.

    I have a 1985 280SL (gray market Euro), I love it! I had a 1985 500SL (Euro) and 1986 560SL too. Bank vault doors is exactly how they are, it's crazy!

    These are the epitome of Mercedes the best or nothing, that generation along with the SEC and W126 S-class are bullet proof reliabilty.

    Can you get a carfax on a vehicle 1982 model year or older? I thought it had to be 1986 and newer for a carfax report

    What a beautiful classic car. Just a rarity already. It's cool that such cars are still sold and there is a demand for them. I with a motor trader bought an old ford mustang was difficult because the last owner did not take good care of her, then she rusted. And I look at you just in exemplary condition! I adore such cars.
