    A quick read I note the following .

    Maserati 250f #2520 Was a factory racer ..raced twice in Argentina (not Moss) then Jones bought her with 2x motors (1x 3 litre )

    Was never wrapped around a tree at Albert Park.....Of the start line November 1956 it hit a tree damaging front suspension on one side .....following weekend came 4th in the AGP.

    I don't think he was offered a drive with Ferrari in 1978 as Ferrari wanted to sell more cars into Canada thus Villeneuve got the offer .

    Jones was offered a Ferrari drive midway through 1982 after the death of Villeneuve and injury to Pironi , instead Ferrari hired 42 year old Andretti when Jones knocked the drive back.....Jones I'd suggest if he had of driven to form in 1982 , would have been offered a full 1983 contract with Ferrari?

    "Formula 3 (Lotus 41 –" NO - Alan McCully had the Lotus (69 not 41) in AIRO (Australian International Racing Organisation:)) AJ had a BT28.
