I bought this watch years before the insanity of the vintage collection craze. It is the first year of production; only 2 known to exist with serial numbers lower than this one. I wasn’t going to buy it until the dealer popped off the bracelet so I could see the serial number. When he did it took me less than a second to decide and say, “I’ll take it.” The serial number digits of this watch are the dates of my wedding anniversary followed by my birthday.
I don’t believe it was sold with a Jubilee bracelet; I’m pretty sure it was sold with a folded Oyster. I’m ok with that since the folded Oyster was known to break and was horribly uncomfortable.
Today I’m wearing my circa 1960 Rolex 1675 GMT.

You need a 7206 rivet bracelet.
    Or a 6636 rivet....but go with a 7206.
7836 (folding) would be for later GMTs...like 1967 to early 1970s.

Best to go ahead and package in a proper set of hands along with the 7206 bracelet for a better deal.

    Always here for you Dave.
