Hi guys Next week I will pick up my 6-1 headers from Fabio. I hope I can pick them up directly because of the corona pandemic they begin to restrict traveling in Europe. Happy to see him again. After installing the headers in my 550 in 2018, and after starting the engine, it was clear that I have to get the headers for the 599 too. Then, these are the two perfect V12 machines. Updates will follow Daniel

I recognise the Creaform 3D scan reference marks. Is Fabio making these on a CNC tube bender then? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Fabio`s work is art. Looking forward for videos. Will you have a ECU update as Sensors may sense its different set up? Does your car have exhaust gas temperature sensor? Sent from my VOG-L29 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
We arrived near Ravenna Thursday afternoon at 5 p.m. and met Fabio for dinner. Good antipasti and handmade pasta in 3 variants, gorgeous. We spoke a lot about his work, the details in production, ... Friday morning we were at Fabios workshop für picking up the headers. He had more headers and cats in his workshop, also for other cars in various stages. At the evening we had dinner with Fabio, his wife and his lovely daughter near the "mare", at Cervio. Damn, I love the fresh calamari in Italy. Nice evening, good for my "rusty" spoken English. Now at home I have to plan the installation, a do it yourself job for me. Updates will follow. Daniel
No ECU update necessary. Fabio told me that there are 599 with and also without temp sensors. I have to check the spec of my car. He said the temp sensor fittings are present at all headers. Daniel
I’ve been considering the upgrade. Excited to follow this! Thanks for posting Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

Started today with installing the parts. The 550 installation was much more easy. The space around some nuts of the headers is like zero. I had about 3 hours for only 3 nuts from the rear headers, one left and two right. Steering shaft have to be disconected, you won't get out the headers. Tomorrow I will install the 6-1 system, which will be much more easy than today. You have much more space around the nuts. I don't know exactly how I got in especially the driverside header. No space because of the steering shaft. The nuts for the headers were very easy, you have so much space around the nuts. But connecting the right cat onto the header flange was an adventure once more. No space, heat shield here, bracket there, .... At the end I got all onto the correct place. Today I will finish all. And then the great moment !!! I will try to make a video with the iPhone. Don't wonder for the colors at the welding areas. Normally this is bleeched. But I wanted it with colors, so Fabio didn't bleeched these areas. Daniel
When I was 20 or 30, such work was much more easy. Today pain in the arms, in the back, rather pain everywhere. You should have an Octopus for screwing at the car. But at the end the result will compensate all, and after turning the key all is forgotten. Daniel
