I just got this email from my local service shop; thought I would share as it might interest people in the 360/430 section. I myself am considering the conversion. I obviously have no affiliation except for being a customer and sharing the email.

    Dear Classic Family:

As fall approaches and the last few days of driving in 2020 come to an end. We at Classic Coach are starting an exciting new program for the winter. If you ever dreamed of converting your F360, F430, or 575 F1 transmission to a traditional 6-Speed manual……Now is the Time!

Classic with its long standing reputation, knowledge and expertise will make your visceral dreams come true. We will use only Ferrari OEM parts and convert all cars to Ferrari’s factory specifications.

If you are interested in this unique opportunity please email us. We need a minimum of 20 cars to commence this project.

    Sincerely,

    Classic Coach Repair Inc.

I am just curious how much a conversion will cost when they do a batch of 20.

how are they able to find 20 pieces of the NLA gated components?

I thought ppl were having a next to impossible time finding 1, let alone 20, and that's why places like EAG need to recreate them

Please email them directly if you are interested. I was told at the moment they are gauging interest with no commitment. Once they know how many owners are potentially interested than they will come up with the price. I can decide at that time if I want to formally commit.

I'm guessing if they get 20 cars, they have contacts at the factory to have a run of parts made.

I was going to wait for Art to announce this but if anyone in the northeast wants to do a conversion, Miller has already hooked up with EAG and they will be doing my 430 spider. No need for a group buy, you can just go direct and contact the Miller service team for details.

Also fwiw, I've checked this out a few different ways - there are no oem parts available, they are not sitting on a shelf somewhere in Italy. they just don't exist.

Do you know the approximate cost of conversion from Miller?

I think Classic Coach is connected with two Ferrari dealers.

I think a partnership with EAG to produce these is great. EAG has been fantastic with me and delivered a high quality product.

Agreed. Miller Eag partnership is powerful. I have already seen the relationship work to the benefit of the consumer.

My bet is the NJ shop will buy the parts from EAG and then do an additional markup. There are no more OEM parts available..

Out of curiosity if something goes wrong after the car has been converted does the car have to go back to EAG in Texas or will Miller warranty and fix car on-site. It would be a tremendous inconvenience if car has to get shipped back to Texas. I just know from experience with these cars small issues always come up afterwards.

I just wrongly assumed that the work was done at EAG and not at Miller. If Miller is doing the work that is great.

Any place on the west coast doing something similar to the east coast partnership?
