    You are right about the orange on television. It looks redder than red and therefore used on the race cars for that effect. Ducati does the same and their Superleggeras all have the orange hue to match the race bikes but unfortunately clashes with the red of my leathers. Had to get a superleggera colored leather suit to match it.

    Painted shields suit this car very well. I'm still amazed @ all the darker colors we're seeing on this car.
    Maybe it is to hide all the creases for the folding roof?

    The scale of the 812 fender suits the larger painted shields in a way that the 488 or F8 don't have that same amount of space to utilize in a comfortable way.

    A general rule seems to be larger vehicles benefit from darker colors. Also the complicated roof design further benefits from the cloaking of a darker color.

    Speaking of dark colors the stunning Nero 812 GTS seen in post #690 would have been an interesting candidate for a Jay Kay like green interior. For example the Porsche Nephrite Green from the 1997 version of the 993 as seen below>
