Residual as in lease or projected value after ownership?

In 2 years with 15k assuming 190k now, 160 with 15k.

Take the trajectory of the FF. Miles hurts more than years.


That’s my projection.

 

That car actually optioned at very low end. Not worth at 162.

FF drops pretty freely until ~130k and then hit some price resistance. With the Lusso T, maybe 135 to 140k... but even then its not as desirable as the V12 and in the long term it will float under the V12 curve.

Has anyone compared the cost per mile of the V12 versus the V8?

Based on the data out there V8 depreciation is flattening. 33k per year and 9900 per 1000
Miles.

Suggests my estimate may be high. You may be looking at 130-140k retail. That’s taking the last part of the curve only and assuming that the correct mileage factor is more like 3-4000 per 1000 which is in line with other Ferrari’s as they age.

But as the v8 is flattening it is the more stable buy.

FWIW I daily my lusso12. Recognize the cost but find the lusso is good value to me.

Great historic analysis, but that's all it is.

There are of course 2 significant factors he can't do the maths for:

1/ Lusso is the last of its kind
2/ Lusso V12 is perhaps the last of the NA V12 Ferraris

Both of these will support residuals.

It's half of the demand/supply equation that determines prices.
