    Well, for whatever it's worth, while I wasn't trading in Ferraris or other higher end collectibles, my recollections and records show that in the fall of '90 I was still fulfilling orders for $5K-$25 range vintage American cars to Europe at a pace similar to previous few years (i.e. 10-20 cars a month) and had several colleagues* still active and busy at the time.

    *Other guys from Europe/Scandinavia who usually came in to U.S./SoCal during winter months and bought tons of American cars (and parts for them) to fulfill orders or merely speculating on some, but in the winter of '91/'92 (by the time I opened my shop, as mentioned earlier) their absence was obvious.
