Good evening we are traveling from Arizona to Northwest Arkansas in a 1986 Ferrari testarossa, interstate 40 had backup for 20 miles due to a shooting today, in the stop and go traffic we noticed one of the fuel pumps is starting to growl. If somebody knows access to a Bosch fuel pump for an 86 CIS car in the Albuquerque area please respond. Thank you!

Thank you Steve, we are home now to make it short it wasn't the fuel pump but a one of the fans on the passenger side rear, in stop and go traffic for hours it heated up enough to stay on which we noticed the sound, must be a bad sleeve bearing on the motor. Yesterday morning it was cool so we started it up and no noise, we drove 750 miles yesterday and made it home last night uneventful except for the police shooting on interstate 40 west of Albuquerque.

Yes sir for a 66 year old man, but I was the navigator so for once I got to see what a passenger sees.

the fans are easy to replace
did mine on my 512 TR years back
big thing is check you fuse box connections where the fans are
the start up amperage on the fans is 25 AMPS and its a lot for that fuse box board
highly recommend you install relays to the cooling fans and the condenser fans as well
this will alleviate the high amperage issues at the fuse box terminals
