    For those FChat folks interested, there will be a group drive leaving from the Austin area to spend the day at the Italian Motor Gathering in Boerne, Texas. The date is Saturday October 17th from 10AM-4PM. Meet up location and time will be posted as the event nears.

    Ready for some outdoor fun? This is it! It’s the Italian Motor Gathering in the town square of Boerne, Texas on Saturday October 17th 10AM-4PM. Lots of Austin area folks went last year and it was well organized and just a great time. There’ll be Ferrari’s, Lamborghini’s, Maserati’s, Ducati’s - Italian cars and motorcycles of all kinds. Besides the awesome Italian machinery, there will be music and food to round out the day.

    Yep, last year was a good time. The registration fee goes to charity - Autism Speaks.

    I’ll be posting a meet up location and start time in about 2 weeks for those who wish to drive down. We have 15 confirmed and 8 maybes so far

    For those of you planning to join me on the drive to Boerne, here are the meet-up details...

    Meetup Location: Whole Foods Market, Hill Country Galleria, Bee Cave.
    Arrival time: 8AM at the Galleria (driver’s mtg, maps, FCA waivers).
    Drive: 1.5 hours to Boerne via Dripping Springs, Henly and Blanco.
    Bring your mask, we will follow Covid restrictions.

    Can anyone park on the green or is it just for cars being judged?

    Cars that paid the registration fee will park on the green. You can be judged or not. I registered but really don't wish to be judged.
    Parking on the street next to the show is available to early arrivers. Otherwise, there is street parking on the side streets but you may end up walking a block.
