Just curious- Porsche is also out of cash then? Same with Mclaren and Ferrari? And I didn’t realize that a 200k/year designer would be that big of a deal for Mclaren. Learn something new everyday on this website.

765LT looks boring? No way. Senna looks boring? Ugly, but wild looking. P1 was great.

I actually do think both the 720 and 765 is boring, but that's me. Never said the Senna was boring, but my god is it ugly.

    To each their own.

P1 is the best looking McLaren in my opinion. Never liked the socket eyes of the 720.

I just saw a 720S on the street as I drove by in the 458 (a rare sight around me). It was grey and a lot of the body detail was missing in the late afternoon light so I’m glad I went with Diamond white. However, it looked like a freaking spaceship. I don’t know how anyone can say it looks “boring”.

on the 765LT they made them more squinty but it works well to make the car look more aggressive.

I like the side, rear, even the front other than the sockets. Hopefully the replacement will solve that completely. I think the 720 is an incredible car and a huge deal for used, although I wouldn’t own one without a warranty.

P1 and 765 are the best looking but for worst looking competition is quite something

that sounds awful. And that's coming from someone that has an F8 on order.

Yes...the design is much better than the SF 90, but the sound is a disaster.

There is basically no sound, best to pick up as many ice ideally N/A cars as possible and keep them long term

Maybe this is due to the GPF that mutes the exhaust note. Since this is a mule, they probably are testing the Powertrain with the GPR on it.

Ferrari should have a lighter, pure option with naturally aspirated V6 or V8, although it continues to develop the turbo and electric models. It could even be a "detuned" version of the F8, or LB (without hybrid assistance).
Something similar that Porsche did with the 718 GTS 4.0 / Spyder / Cayman GT4 and in the future 992 GT3 (all NA, although most of the lineup is turbo), listening to the demand of a part of its clientele. And the GT3 will have a new engine. This shows that the issue is not just emissions. Having the initiative to invest, it is possible to place a NA engine on the market at this time.
A V6 or V8 NA option on the line would be very interesting to accompany the V12 NA.
That would please Greeks and Trojans.

The 720 is a lot like the Senna in that photos do neither justice. In the flesh both of these cars have more presence than any current exotics I've seen. It's the opposite with Sf90 where it doesn't look that great in photos and its even worse again in the flesh. This is where Ferrari really need to pull their socks up with "little brother" or whatever some want to call it as all their current cars kinda pale into insignificance alongside a 720, 765 and Senna which all look far more bespoke.
