    The damn part is missing from my last order to Eurospares... They've promised to ship the parts once available again (no delay provided). In other words I am stuck with my shiny rebuilt engine. Anyone managed to find a suitable alternative?

    You might need to make your own. The metal portion of your 114250:

    isn't as conducive to just adding an aftermarket fuel sock (so you might need to weld/braze a perforated metal tube to the fitting to act as an internal support for the sock), but if you do a search using "fuel sock" you'll get some prior threads showing what others have done.
