Removed rubber boot covers from ball joints completely dry no lubricate at all no wonder why they rust . Prothane Super Grease if you get some on your fingers only way to remove it have to use 91percent Isopropyl alcohol. Soap and water does not help at all removing it Factory Challenge control arms all ready some on the bushings and ball joints. Interesting , I will follow this closely . I have a damaged CS rear lid and seeing how they are put together on the inside will be very helpful with my repair .
Is the frame work where the glass is bonded the same on the std lid as the Lexan mountings and carbon cross blades on the CS lid ?
If you look close you can there is a Lexan already fitted and yes it does. CS frame that supports the louvers or grills not the same as standard 360. You change them out to support carbon fiber grills louvers very easy. For the carbon fiber support cross members for Lexan glass drill and tap the frame .
Couple years ago I paid for a pair carbon fiber grills 1483.0 Every month prices are going UP !! A pair now 9050.00 !! What in the hell is going on ?? Lexan door glass three years ago new 14500.00 for pair. New pair today 26624.08 .
Randy, even the 360 Modena parts are exploding in price! ... For example a pair (you can only buy in pairs) of engine ecus is now over $6,000 and going up!!! ... I can really see 360s being written off for lack of ecu availability if I don't get my skates on and make a low cost suitable replacement available soon. Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
Scuderia steering rack has gone from 2.5k to nearly 12k. Its crazy. I definitely agree that many more cars will be totaled by the insurance companies.
It's quite sad really as it doesn't reflect any form of relationship with reality. Unless Ferrari are already factoring in real world inflation they see due to massive devaluation of currencies recently going on... Right off to buy my $200 loaf of bread Sent from my VOG-L29 using Tapatalk
Ha ha yes, sad but true. Thankful that we have folks like you keeping our cars on the road. The 430 TCUs may be another area you can help with - Ferrari made those a restricted part last year. I'm unsure if that's still the case. @RANDY6005 that will look fantastic

Randy, question, not sure if you ever had the CS exhaust but how would you compare the S-Line exhaust for sound? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
What a CS system does at higher RMPs vales opens up by passes muffle . IMHO sounds the same as S-Line Exhaust wend open. For a lot less money and lighter
Answer full discloser a very very good friend has a CS & 430 Scud & GT 40 , I wanted to buy his CS stock system he replied why ? It is junk and heavy as hell the only reason why it sounds so good it by passes the stock muffler !!
