    A very comprehensive filter comparison.

I see Fram filters on many Ferraris and ask myself "WHY?"

I use the NAPA Gold or WIX on all my cars.

Only Fram still makes a filter with the CORRECT specs (PH 2815) for the full flow side of the cars that use one full flow and one bypass filter. My personal choice for the cars using "twin" full flow filters is the Baldwin B253. I am not aware of ANY Wix or NAPA filter that is the correct spec for those cars. This has been discussed before.
Fram, about 30 years ago, made a decision to pursue the "discount store" market and downgraded the quality of many of its popular filters. However, they still make specialized filters of good quality.

I’ve always used Fram oil filters on all (vintage) Ferrari services, but mine are older stock made 25+ years ago.
I stocked up with several cases long ago and still have couple left.

I believe the factory choice these days are the UFI brands. I have not tried them myself, but many good comments from others.
