Yes, 70 means that the car is essentially finished. Just last touches and it had undergone all testing, which I believe it is between 50 and 60. Nest step is 85, which is storage; then 90, which is shipping and so on. Like I said, I have never received a VIN. And yes, they may all be ship buddies.
I have not been given that info... I went from deposit allocation in March, to order acceptance in August, Having a VIN assigned but not revealed early September, Status 40 late September, status 60 early October, Status 70 mid to late August and still no VIN. I even asked the sales manager if he had the VIN. No answer. Only replied with "we still have the F8 Spider until Monday, if you want to test drive it". I am thinking about swinging by today and asking for it directly. He should have that information readily available to him, I assume. I am curious to know if it will fall somewhere in sequence as the cars are so close together.
If you register to Ferrari app your VIN order specs and eventually pictures will appear under garage tap. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have checked about a zillion times and it's never been there. I stopped and never checked again. Just checked again. Nothing.
That’s interesting! As soon as I registered at my Ferrari, my order appeared since it’s easy for them to match it by name. I believe that’s how it works for everyone. If I were you I will write an email to ferrari customer service and ask them about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I did that as well.. Never got a response. I just sent another email. Let's see if I have better luck this time.

What did I tell you? Since the car is being built in your front yard would get it sooner! A little land, a little water and a little more land and you have yourself the F8. Remember when you were upset about thinking you would not get it soon? Mine should have been completed today by their own estimated date. But I have not received any updates or confirmation. Hopefully soon!
