83QV- dead battery and front latch wont open

    Battery will pop trunk and engine cover, but front is silent. The cable pull wont budge either..... I fear it could snap.

    Anyone else know if the cable is weak and can advise me on how to get this open so I can swap battteries?

    You get to your battery trough the right front wheel well. Just remove the gravel front guard.

    Maybe have someone push down on lid while you pull emergency release

    I had the same issue with the latch. Was able gently lift the right hand side with a plastic wedge and snaked a long socket drive to the bolt on the latch and backed out the bolt until the hood was free.
