Difficult question to answer, but thought i would ask. Anybody know about this Lusso that was purchased from Vegas in 66 and was in California before being sold in 68. License number RSN915. Light blue with beige interior originally.

    Photo?

Let's assume your "light blue" was originally Azzurro.
The only 250 GT Lusso in this color with a beige interior was 4379 GT and that belonged to the original owner in NY from 1963 until 1998.
All other U.S.-delivered 250 GT Lussi in Azzurro had the interior in Nuvola or Rosso.

Thank you Marcel as always. Apparently this particular car lived in Los Angeles only for two years and the color was changed to red with black interior

I presume you are looking for Stephen Mitchell's Lusso. See unresolved thread here.

    5285 GT.
BUT: Originally Grigio Argento with Nuvola leather (that's sort of blue). And 5285 GT was in Italy from new (21 January 1964) until 1970 (with five owners). Not in Vegas or CA prior to 1970. 5285 GT was last seen in Australia where it has been since 1980.

With the last ownership change in Italy in 1968 things are getting a little tight for 5285. Let's presume Steven's memory is off a year or two (whose isn't!?) and he got the Lusso in 1969, having just been imported, just in time for the last of the black plates being issued, then traded for a GTO "soon" (that's what he said, I think!), and yes, it looks possible his car really was 5285. Besides, I'd say the car was silver grey.
