Fourth - limited tire compounds(per Pirelli) due to the distance from last weeks race to this weeks race.

You may know more about this, but I suspect that Liberty would like the 2-day GP weekend to be adopted as standard in future.

    LOL.

DRS closes when the brakes are applied or using manual override.

The drivers and the teams should be begging for practice since they don't get any testing. Unless we want it to become a static sport. Simulators are no substitute for testing/practice. They usually have two weeks between races, with only a couple of short turn arounds. The lack of testing is one of the things that hit Michael when he tried to come back. Between races he was constantly in the car working on setups and updates. Saving engine hours is just one of the stupid new results to limiting the number of engines per year. Bottom line, all the changes in the last ten years have done nothing to reduce costs...nor did the changes in the previous ten years. You don't become the premier motorsport by cutting costs.

Guys, they have all year to plan this stuff...they know the tracks and they have the data to crank out as many tires as they need. The 2 day weekend is a test for next year and maybe half to 3/4 of the races could be two days...if not all of them.

I find it very hard to believe that drivers ask for less practice time (source)? If they don't want to run, they can simply stay in the pit box, no?

The logistics are easier and Liberty Media can fit even more races in a season. But this is another step in dumbing down the technical aspect of F1. These cars now never run at 10/10, but taking away the free practices will make them even less adjusted to the track. Tire management, engine management, fuel conservation, all the boring aspects of F1 will be magnified, not diminished by letting the cars race with a sub-optimal set-up. Very sad

No- I’m sorry that is not a personality- if u listen
To his interview he is pretty boring. Not Schumacher boring but pretty boring. This is just ridiculously stupid from a guy who craves attention not just fashion. U don’t have to dress in pink to claim having personality. Kimi has one? Ricciardo too. I’m not saying Lewis doesn’t have one but he isn’t personable and doesn’t seem to feel
    That good in
His own skin. I’m serious. He just feels different and wants to show he is. Maybe he is confused about hi identify? After all without going into p&r he grew up with 2 white mothers and an African dad so who knows what/who he identifies has.
The guy had a clean cut image and then he had the tats, the chain thinking he is 2pac or busta rhymes..but he is a 5 ‘7 skinny guy. Good for him anyways.
Let’s not forget he was not as rich as the other drivers but clearly didn’t grow up in the ghetto. Then he lost his hair and lied saying it was shampoo products and now it regrows. He has a great life and I’m sure he loves it, but I’d not say he has a personality that matches what he wishes for it to be.
    He just seems confused

Good to hear your view, but we can agree to disagree. Look at how many pictures the photographer captured on Hamilton vs Leclerc, and how many replies on Ham's pic vs other drivers.

I don't think it matters a bit. He keeps racing hard and smart, improving over the weekend culminating with Q3 and race performances, complaining about his tires then making them last..., simply and steadily making the most of his chances. How can that not inspire his team? I admit I laughed when I saw the pics though. Regardless, he and anyone who gets this far on their merits has my respect.
