Was 15448 the last USA model produced and 15604 the last model off the production line?

Nice to see my first Ferrari is still in good hands. It was purchased new at Maranello's in Egham (UK) in 1976 and it was originally badged as a Dino. It had the then fashionable top red, lower body black color. I enjoyed this car for 15 years and sold it to the Netherlands when I bought a new 328GTS. It was delivered as a left hand drive car rather than the UK right hand drive version (I just had temporarily moved from NL to UK).

These front spoilers were a rare option available from the factory but as I understand it they were dealer installed. I have one on my 75 euro spec. I'm not sure they were available for US spec. cars. They give the GT4 front end a whole different look. You have to be very careful though as they are very close to the ground if you are running stock wheels and tires like mine.

Exactly correct, very few of them around. I have a copy of the dealer fitting instructions from the Factory somewhere.

I also am lucky as I have a copy of the instructions as well. If you are fortunate enough to have one of these or you can find one paint it the body color. As I said before it makes a dramatic change on the front end.

I have the front spoiler that came with my car and it is a US spec car, These are made of fiberglass. Think they are rare cause they get ripped of or break while driving. Do other owners have? Mine is cracked and needs to be fixed and repainted. I was thinking a making a mold from the original.

Mine was body coloured, didn't like it. Satin black like a Testarossa now and looks nicer. Just my opinion. Image Unavailable, Please Login

No. 14644, a 1979 car, is being delivered to my garage this evening. I'm quite excited about it.

Welcome to the club. Just a bit younger than mine no 14302. Do you have any history on it. What colour? Pics would be good.

Criminal!! You need to get some miles on her. She'll be all the better for it. Not joking.

I'm looking forward to it. The car was held in a collection for many years and recommissioned with this mileage on it; dealer service history to 35K and most of that in the first five years or so. It's not a car I was expecting to own, but rude not to when I came upon her. I am hoping, as you say, I can make regular use of her and maybe lose the daily driver Audi!

Delivery this evening was too late to take her out, so tomorrow morning I am going 'marketing' as allowed by the new lockdown.

    Thanks for posting

You will have great fun with it. They are great cars. I have had mine for 6 1/2 years now and driven in excess of 20K miles. Plenty of good owner advice on here and always happy to offer my own. Who are you going to use to look after it?

I was reading an old post from Birdman on Fchat. He said that only 614 total were sent to the USA.
1974 total out put was 76 cars
1975 was 598 cars, 1976 was 439, 1977 was 320, and 1978 was 267. America usually gets about 30% of the cars. But low numbers for a "modern" Ferrari.
