458 Hit 10k. Now my car is worthless.

Good on you forg getting your 458 out and stretching it's legs. It is a great reminder to get out and drive. For many of us the season is getting cooler/colder.

 

Sport mode with Bumpy road-setting is awesome. It can only be beaten by race mode with bumpy!

 

Just had our 2015 Spider out for a Sunday run. It was fabulous and agree every mile gets better.

 

Once you pass the magical 10,000 mile mark then you can enjoy putting as many miles on her as possible.

 

I just passed 10k in my CS yesterday! Now I am free to really pile on the smiles.

 

I’m at 9999 as of last evening. I stopped worrying about mileage the day I purchased it.

 

To each their own. I cannot stand race mode. CT Off FTW. (I've driven mine everyday the past week. 9k miles is quickly approaching)

lol I should be to 110k in 5-6 months

 

Mine just turned 90,000 km. Loves to fly on the open highway. Topped it at 307km/h but loves traveling at 250. Hope to put many more on it. Love how the pic shows all the problems too. Seems to have a small vacuum leak and I need a new fog light bulb. Never stops it from going anywhere though. Image Unavailable, Please Login

 

Why do people worry so much about miles on the car, the whole point of it is to enjoy it. I have been driving ferraris as everyday hack since i was 21 and here is some example of miles
360 coupe - 2002 - 2004 (76,000 miles) resprayed several times etc etc
430 coupe - 2004- 2010 ( 89,000 miles) plus i drove 360 occasionally
550 coupe - 2008-2009 (8000 miles)
458 coupe - 2014-2020 (72000 miles)
and i enjoy every minute of it, and yes the novelty wears out but still feels great to drive them. Of course on occassion i would ask a dealer what would i get if i part exchanged and after seeing the miles they offer a silly price and are in shock seeing the miles

 

I guess we spend so much money on them that we are afraid to lose more than it is supposed to. Of course there are others, that want to make a buck or two on them. But we all know that this specific condition only occurs on special models not on everyday basis.

I for one, keep my miles low because I am a car keeper. My only high mileage car is my daily driver which is a 2014 CLS 63s AMG and it has 60k miles. All others are very low. I want to be eighty and still have all my cars and enjoy them. While everyone else is driving in silence, I will be making noise all around them.

 

10,000 in June, 11,000 in October.

I'd rather not hear her singing, but there is nothing better than putting miles on a 458.
It is so good on so many levels. Coming from a 430, I find that long drives in the 458 don't leave me
worn out like they used to in the 430.

 

I traded my 2012 458 with 21k miles for a pretty dang good price and I know it sold in under 2 weeks for a pretty good price as well. All well above $150k.

That wasn't the punchline of the joke. Focused on the wring thing, but you have a very valid point. I just couldn't deliver it without her name. I understand. I am one that feels the miles on the GT2. The clutch is no fun anymore if you get stuck in traffic. But still love to take it out for short drives.

I know it wasn't, GT2. The pressure of being anyone's hero is too much to bare (bear, behr). However it is spelled.
Her voice his particularly grating, in my opinion.
The GT2 is a monster, by the way. A very cool ride. I had a 991.1 GT3 that I really loved and I am not sure why I got rid of it.
A tremendous car.

I love my GT2...

And yeah... I am not sure why you got rid of it either... I am not making the same mistakes many do. Even my uncle, who had a 964 targa and a 993 Turbo Cab and Coupe... He now regrets it.
