After many years on FChat I have finally placed an order for my first Ferrari. I am coming out of a Porsche Panamera Turbo which I use as a daily and plan on using the Roma in similar fashion. I placed a deposit with my AD today and the goal is to complete the build and submit to Ferrari sometime next week. I am told that delivery will be late spring/early summer. My goal is to keep the build either side of $275,000 (US) - my current (not locked) configuration is below, and I would appreciate any advice on "must have" options that I am missing, or options that are deemed unnecessary (which is of course subjective).

The main area I am struggling with is the interior, (color, I prefer light to dark with dark exterior) and contrast stitching/piping. Here goes:

    Exterior:Rosso Mugello
    Interior: Cuoio
MADM Magneride (how necessary is this)
CALY Yellow Brake Calipers (to match the shields)
EXA3 Sport Exhaust Pipes Silver (for contrast)
LOGO Scuderia Ferrari Shields (debated ad nauseam, but I prefer the look with)
RMSV 20" Forged Painted Rims (going back and forth on this and Diamond Rims which I think look too dark with the Mugello Exterior)
DUAL Dual Color Leather Interior (undecided - all upper zones in Cuoio leather vs Black, including rear seats upper and lower - looks like standard is rear seats to be black irrespective of interior color)
    EMPH Horse Stitched Headrest (Nero)
FLMA Colored Mats with Logo (Cuoio)
LEDS Carbon Fib Steering Wheel + LEDS
PIP7 Color Leather Interior Inserts Cuoio
RSFV Ventilated Full Electric Seats (likely going to delete to get to my budget)
    STC2 Colored Special Stiching Nero
ACPL Apple CarPlay (I know - ludicrous but I use it all the time)
ADAs Full Package (another possible delete - interested in thoughts on this)
    PLAL Aluminum Footrest
    SKPA Foldable rear seats
SNDB Hi Power Stereo (I love music - in addition to the engine sound)
SURR Surround View (must have for a daily?)
XLSU Active Matrix LED Lights (also likely a delete)

All thoughts and comments much appreciated.

Great build. My wife has a Porto in rm. only advice, be careful of a light upper dash...can be very reflective. I am sure you will love!

Seriously consider Rosso California. On the modern cars with large surfaces and many shapes, a solid colour like Rosso Mugello will look very flat and completely remove the nice contours. Rosso Cali is very similar to Mugello but metallic. There's a reason why Rosso California was used as the Cali T launch colour as well as the launch colour for the Lusso. It just works.

That spec is perfect !! Rosso Mugello is an awesome color. Darker in the shade comes to life in the sun. I prefer the dual interior color as opposed to all cuoio interior so will keep the roof black to match the upper dashboard and the back
    Congrats on a perfect spec!

Thanks all - I will take a look at Rosso California, but have always been partial to Mugello. I think I am in agreement with the dual interior color and may delete the Cuoio upper dash in Cuoio - good advice on the reflection issue.

Any thoughts on Magneride, Ventilated Full Electric Seats, and ADAS? The build outlined above gets me to $297k and was trying to keep in the $275k range. Also, should I care about which tyres I spec - dealer said requesting specific tyre can add 30 days to delivery depending on what the factory has in stock.

Take a look at this video. It's a video my detailer made of my 488 for commercial purposes after a 75 hour paint correction.
This is actually a very good showing of Rosso California.

Get Magneride for sure. No idea why anyone would want one without. Incredible this is still not standard on the Porto.

Just had a Roma for 24 hours and it did not have MADM. I have a Portofino with MADM. Save the $6k. Could not tell the difference in handling.

Test drove and ordered mine Thursday. Here is my spec: Titanio/ Cuoio Diamond wheels, Magneride, delete shields, Aluminum calipers, cf wheel centers, sport exhaust, comfort Daytona seats with Alcantara inserts. CF steering wheel with LEDS. Misc. interior trim detail. HP Stereo and foldable rear seat backs My concept was for a subtle stealth look that doesn't detract from the distinctive (and gorgeous) exterior styling while having a more dramatic flair in the interior.

I was very impressed with the feel and performance of the car. Really is amazing that they were able to create a GT that drives more like a sports car. I will be selling my Scud when the Roma arrives next summer. The Roma will not be a daily driver but will be used often. Club drives, weekend trips, wine tasting, etc.

My Cali T has full leather Cuoio interior, including the dash. I don't have a problem with reflection. The only reflection I see is the silver bezel around the tach. But that's a different car. The Cuoio is gorgeous and more of it is good, imo. :)

I would drop CarPlay to help pay for full electric seats. I was on a 400 mile cruise yesterday and the adjustable seats were way more impactful on my enjoyment than CarPlay would have been.

Magneride is essential, for me. Also, while I love the fender shields, I don't think they look good on the Roma.

This is all personal opinion, of course!

Magneride is helpful for resale. Go with stock Tires if no plans for any major tracking of the car.

If you have and enjoy the vented seats in your p-car, I’d say keep them in your spec.
You’ll miss their absence if you live in warmer climes.
If you’ve never had them, it’s an easy delete to save money.

I have driven a Roma and i loved it. Mugello is the perfect colour for it and i prefer the Diamond rims. Sports exhaust is purely cosmetic and i would drop it if i had a budget. Cuoio seats will match perfectly and the same colour for the roof lining but keep the upper dash and door cards black at all costs. Magnetride is an absolute must have however i would drop the fully electric/ventilated seats as they're the same shape as the standard ones albeit much more money and weight. Apple and High power Hi-Fi again must haves.
I would absolutely drop ADAS as it comes with the ugly box in the front which ruins the lines IMO. In terms of tyres, normally i'd be all over the Michelins on any Porsche or Porsche, however on the Roma i'd go Pirellis as they were developed specially for it and the Roma rides better on them.
In short drop fancy seats, ADAS, Sports exhaust and Matrix lights which should bring you down to your very realistic sensible budget. Don't blow your budget by paying for fancy paint either. Its very easy for others to spend your hard earned money but its you which will take the depreciation hit when you sell it.

All sage advice - I am going to make another trip to the dealer today or tomorrow to play around with the options. I agree that ventilated electric seats seems unnecessary for the cost (despite being in Chicago in summer and Southern Cal in winter), along with ADAS. Still deciding on full leather Cuoio vs the two tone which shows off the interior lines much better.

A few views that may help (or confuse :p) you (based on my config earlier this year for a Portofino):
ADAS is a MUST for a daily drive car. You get the cross traffic cameras and I use the adaptive cruise control on the highway when I can as well as the lane depart warning. SURR is also a must.
I did not get Applepay and do not miss it at all. I can play all my misic through the telephone and have now transferred the music to a USB stick so do not need the telephone to listen to or find music.
My interior is crema with the standard black dashboard. Looks good, although another (dark) dashboard colour may have been better. Had a Porsche with a light dashboard top and the reflections drove me bananas.
Send a pic of the configuration; that would make it easier to comment.

Looks amazing. One other item we missed on the portofino but I caught on the Roma is the headliner. I think it’s fabric as stock so you need to spec either alcantara or leather if you want different. U may have listed earlier but thought I would send ;). I see that you didn’t do a contrasting color for the pin strip piece around each cockpit....I think it looks very classy. One option would be to keep the color and go alcantara there. With that said, your build looks fantastic

If you're speccing the yellow calipers just to match the shields, keep in mind that that they are two different yellows ... the shield is a brighter yellow. The calipers (and wheel caps) will be giallo modena.

After trying the car myself, only thing from your spec I would reconsider is the upgraded audio. It’s not very good and for the same money or less, a specialist would install something very, very good.

    Enjoy the car!

Problem is that it has become much harder to do. And if you want an invisible install, even more so. On top of that, you actually lack installation points with the base system. They don't even give you provisions for drivers in the dash unless you select the upgraded system. I consider myself a proper audiophile, and I would go to pretty great lengths for a better system. But there are also limits to how much you want an installer to rip apart your new Ferrari and go to town with a drill and a saw. Yes if you want a custom system that is visible, has fabricated pods, mounts and all the rest of it, by all means. Just remember than more often than not, it will subtract from the cars resale value. Enough so that the added price of basing a new system on the upgraded setup might be worth it. I plan on doing it on my 812, and after looking into the differences, there are no doubt as to why I chose to start out with the upgraded setup. I will not use any of the drivers, nor will I use the amp. But the 812 upgraded driver factory locations are quite decent, and all the brackets are different, thus allowing me to fit my drivers of choice without hacking into things. All cabling is also routed from the boot for a full active setup. There is just so much to deal with for an installer if you start with a base system. It might be slightly different in a Roma, but in the 488, Lusso and 812 GTS there is a huge difference depending on your starting point. Had it been a normal car like a Merc or Porsche hack away and do pods, but not with these cars.

I appreciate everyones advice and input. I finalized my build today and it will be submitted to the factory tomorrow. For the most part I stayed with my original build with a few minor changes (eliminated the front camera/square thingy under the front grill and deleted ventilated seats - at almost $8k for the ventilated seats seemed a little outrageous for a few fans under the seat) - I also made a game time decision on the wheels and ended up going with Diamond Cut Wheels with Yellow Calipers. Had the opportunity to see this set-up on a California also in Rosso Mugello and loved it.

You have spec'd almost exactly what I would spec. Fantastic color combo. Very classic and more of the old world colors than the new and modern stuff. It should be stunning
