Hi, it’s a US specs car that has 17 records on Carfax, which means it has lived for a while in the US. I don’t know more yet.

The auction is a bit of a scam. The seller has the option to decline the highest bid and re list the car (which is what they did after it hit only 180k Dirham, or about $49k). I understand the seller may be a dealer. I went with a friend to look at it. $49k is way too much for a rough, salvage title 355 if you ask me.

180K is amazing at current time for this car ! Wow I would have sold.

Might be tempted to auction mine

That brings back baaaad memories of a Viper I tried to buy from Ras Al Khor shortly before I ended up with my 360.

Advertised as a perfect example I drove it, it all seemed fine so I started to negotiate with the dealer before deciding that I really should run at least a Google search on the VIN.
    First results I found....

The photos from the salvage auction earlier that year where it was declared a double insurance write-off for both accident and flood damage!
Needless to say I walked away and the dealer still had the car (at the same price!) a year later.

Definitely caveat emptor buying cars in the UAE, that's for sure!
