I am in the process of removing an old Alpine alarm system and thought it would be easier if I could get to the wires behind the fuse blocks. It appears that a metal plate holds the fuse blocks (and relays) and has 3 screws along the top. Is it possible to just unscrew and drop the plate down to gain access, or am I asking for trouble?

No peril in doing that, no.

Thank you! I didn't think so, but thought I would ask.
