If interested look on Showroom and Detailing /Garage Pics page 422 under my toys. My 1971 C4 .Redid the mouse hair a number of yrs ago.I did a fair amount myself and my wife made the shift boot. Material came from Re Originals.Seemed like best choice at the time.It has heldup perfectly. I find a great way to clean/brush is with a spare piece of the mouse hair itself. Mike

Changing the oil in my GTC4 and had the drain plug threads disintegrate, so pulled pan off to drill out and put in Time-sert 16mm insert.
Thought some might like to see what the inside of the pan looks like with baffles and oil doors in all 4 directions to contain oil in spirited driving in sump center. shot of engine shows oil pick that goes in sump center. Holds 17 quarts. All one piece cast aluminum.

I see a couple of things here that I wonder why they weren't included in the earlier motors; things that would make oiling more dependable in a wet sump motor, like the one-way gates and the absence of a rubber hose along the pick-up path. Thanks for posting these, by the way.

@Marcel Massini I recently acquired a GTC/4 coupe, seems to be a two-owner from new car with good records. I would be interested in comparing any findings you may have with the records that accompany the car. What is required in order to get a report? Feel free to PM.

    Regards,

The first 365 GTC/4 I photographed was at a club race day at Oulton Park. BTW I was using a new Kodak Ecko (?) film in my camera which didn't really do the car justice when I had it developed, although like the car it seems to age well.....

Here is the back of the car still Kodak Ektachrome (thanks), sometimes I do miss using real film but digital is just so easy. Pretty sure they are Belgian plates and the decal in the back window is for Garage Roothooft, which appears to have been a Ford dealer in Willebroek, Belgium. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I saw the same car at the Zolder track in May 1989. It has the same decal on the left of the license plate, which odly looks to have a Citroen logo on it. The plates at zolder read ZZD 754 which is a Belgian dealer plate. The Volkswagen Passat in the back of your picture is a model that was current in 1989, so your picture might be taken the same year. I saw the GTC/4 previously at Zolder in 1988 with the same dealer plates (no picture though).

I'm not sure if one is allowed to cross borders on a dealer plate, so maybe that explains the unusual plate in your picture. I doesn't look official to me.

Thanks, Christian. I had 15693 for several years. I believe it went to Germany and was painted to match it's original color. I have often wondered what became of the car as it is no longer listed in the GTC/4 website.
And, is so often the case........... I wish I had not sold it.

    Mr. M., you drove 15693 from 1 December 2001 until 29 July 2014 and did a total of 8'455 miles in 12.5 years (= 676 miles/year).
15693 was last seen in Grevenbroich, Germany, in Marrone Colorado.

No just my humble opinion and taste, too many are silver which I find bland on that body. It is a subtle Ferrari so plain red I feel is wrong.

I loved an Oro kelso (medium gold) I got to drive and would really like to see a yellow one or Oro chiaro, light gold.

PS: I think we have a common acquaintance: Michael K near Montreux, Switzerland?
He had asked me for a 365GT 2+2 for a friend in Malta a few years ago...
