Thank you Bryan and agree completely with your sentiments. They are still with us and I got a lovely message from the Lady saying that they owned it during a special time in their lives and her nickname for it was "baby blue", that's what I now call it.

That is even more special and amazing. It is so cool that you have had continuous contact with them. That is a special bond and relationship that most people don't get. Please continue sharing and updating.

Couple of questions if I may:
What is the driving experience like? Enjoyable for a 100 mile jaunt through the countryside? I know it is not like driving a McLaren or Porsche, but assume enjoyable in its own tight?
Maintenance? Once set up well is there such a thing as reliability?

I did a 70 mile drive to a car show and back 2 weeks ago and it was very nice . Power was good and the car is smooth and comfortable . I actually will take mine on the Colorado grand next year . Maintenance so far has been minimal however I do own a shop that works on then so that’s a plus . Happy to talk more of you want to call me .

I'm sad to hear that Ken has passed on. I've dealt with his machinist, Paul, for many years with BMW motorcycles (who also...at least used to...have a model T. I'm guessing he might be the mechanic you mention). I've seen the museum a few times and it is quite the hidden gem. It would be nice if the cars made it to public display someday.

What a beauty. God bless. I've always been a fan. I remember the first 1956 I saw.... Loved it! My wife has always liked it but she really fell in love with them after she watched Lucifer.

Here is our pair of antiques, both 1992 NSX's.
The red one is our nearly stock garage queen, with 40K on the clock.
The purple one is a highly modified large turbo beast, with 70K miles of smiles.

The current mechanic is Chris. I think Paul maybe retired.

I'm not sure if Covid threw a wrench in the works, but a bunch of the cars were going to be auctioned, particularly the early Ford stuff. I don't think the kids had much interest in that. They still have plenty of cars, just not the really early stuff.
