The amount of information that can be had in any GA cockpit is phenomenal. ATC was once giving me vectors over the Cascades and I hesitated giving a reply. He prompted me and I said I was looking at the XM weather on my display and agreed that was the best route through the rain. He sorta laughed and said 'thought so'. That was 10 yrs ago.

I think this was scheduled to have already happened and postponed once due to budget constraints. Someone else may know better. I know the UPT curriculum was changed in ways to keep the Talon from being used as much.
