I see 0071S on Wisconsin Collector plates. Was it owned by an eye Dr at that time? I recall seeing it at Road America some time ago at the Ferrari Maserati Challenge. Perry

Every time I see 0280AM, it is red with a silver base, and yet my miniature of the model and accompanying postcard show the car as red with a black base, as described on page 158 of 'Ferrari by Vignale' (Marcel Massini). The pictures I have in 'Red Arrows' (Giannino Marzotto) are black and white and I can't make out the lower colour, but it does look as though the car was red and black. What colour should actually reflect the car as it ran in '53?

This one is so beautiful. Even if the many Pininfarina designed Ferraris are everything but usual or even ugly, I'm always captivated if I see a Ferrari of a different coachbuilder.
