Dear all, I have a question to see if anyone can help me. The interior of the bonnet on the Lusso is in the color of the body, black or with a lining? Thanks in advance. Nicolás.

Hi Nicolás, here's how it is originally, although today it's nearly impossible to replicate this exact texture. Most of us use black "Wurth" which is not a bad look, after all. Originally, black paint is applied to the bare aluminum and then the black tar material is splashed on. You remove all this and you will find the serial number hand-written with a grease pencil in two places--because the hood is made up of two separate pieces, butt-welded together. Interestingly enough, here you can also see a piece of leather applied between the brace and the skin--probably for sound deadening. john View attachment 3039795
Sorry for the segmented post... here's the second picture that did not upload in my first message. It shows the texture and the leather. john Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dear John, Thank you very much. That information is very valuable. We were searching for info on this and this is what we needed for a car that is going to be restored in Argentina. Thank you again. Best regards, Nicolás.
