The ASA 1000 GT coupe version is kind of a cross between the Ferrari 250 GT Bertone and a Alfa Giulia GTV Bertone. Same guy designed all three.
250 GTO photo from my first Ferrari Club of America national event wich was held at Road America in 1988, and it was amazing. Held together with the Road America Chicago Historical races organized by Joe Marchetti. Let me just say it was 100 times better than the BRIC held now. Image Unavailable, Please Login
A few more pictures from the 1988 Ferrari Club National/Chicago Historical races. They allowed other Italian and real Cobra's to the event. The European VS American Trans Am was very interesting. They had real Trans Am cars(not replicas) racing Ferrari GT's. The comp Daytona's won if I remember correctly. I believe that was the year Satch Carlson was the featured FCA speaker at Schwartz’s at the dinner on Saturday. Great turn out that summer for all of the events. Thanks for posting.
#16367 at the Road America Historical races and a Ferrari prototype in the Alitalia cargo holding area at ORD back in the late 1980's. Alitalia was always shipping in strange cars along with KLM and Lufthansa back then. They still don't protect the collector cars very well at all unless they are shipped by a factory, normally with a car that is worth nothing. Strange world we live in. My first shot at Canada Corner, Road America on the south side at the 1990 IMSA GTO race. The Ferrari France F40LM was amazing, and sounded wonderful for a turbo shooting flames several feet. It used to be very hard to get to Canada Corner South. Now we have a paved path and patio.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Rolls invasion, Cullinan on Lake Cook Rd, Wraith at Citibank in Northbrook and new Phantom in Highwood. The last 2 cars in very discreet color combinations. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Didn't look like wrap. I guess the guy was not happy with the lack of attention an ordinary Wraith in one of the more popular colors would bring
No Ferrari events in nearly a year. Lake Forest by appointment only... No Italian Village, nothing...
Thats not entirely true. There have been a few club events this year that I and others have attended Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk
Joseph I went to a FCA meet in Schaumburg this year ,and the FCA fall drive in october. And another in Lombard at the Carlisle in Lombard.
Things are not all bad. I recently pick up this LC 500 convertible and have been able to enjoy some quality top down time. Two Sundays ago it was 80 degrees out. I took my wife on a nice day trip to the Warren Dunes State park in Sawyer MI. Fantastic place. Tonight was 65 degrees out and I went for an extended top down drive. Image Unavailable, Please Login

No shields, love it Looks like this one has a non color matched grill (so much bitching about the grill on this wonderful car) I was paid $599 (not a random number) to participate in a survey about Ferrari, focused on the Roma I am so hopeful they do the open top version of this car
