Sounds like I did okay on mine, just scraped all the couch cushions to come up with 45k$USD for this black on black beauty. She’s a 95 with a stick shifter, fairly sorted but has a short list which includes leaky rear shocks. Seller included a pair of rear shocks for me that look good so I’ll be testing them and installing this winter. She has 48k mi on the clock. Probably do accumulators then too. Very pretty interior, I can’t fault it for being a driver with miles but yea remove that sticker. I bet it tickles $60k+ Bullish I know but it is rare, pretty and basically pre-sorted for the right buyer.

The presale estimate on the blue one at Monterey was $90-110k. I told my wife if it’s anything close to that I’ll kick myself for not registering. I guessed it would break $150k easily and I figured it would go past the recent $181k M in Barchetta that was on BAT. There’s like no miles on it (6k I want to say) and it’s the best looking color pairing on any M or non-M I’ve ever seen. The navy highlights on the interior are “just right”. It is as good of an “collectors” example as you’ll ever find in these including good provenance. I’m a little surprised about the one at Quail and didn’t see it listed presale. There was a very similar M listed in San Jose (can’t remember the dealership) on Hemmings for the longest time. Can’t remember the mileage. They were asking 85 and it only sold when they dropped it to 75 or 80. It’s been a couple months but not that long. Is it the same car?
Interesting. There is a vary similar car listed by Speedart Motorsports in Miami: 2000 Ferrari 456M GT | Speedart Motorsports : Speedart Motorsports for $168,000 My records show it last sold at RM Sotheby's Ft. Lauderdale in April 2018, for $126,500 incl premium
That's what I have in the registry for the car. It had 13,400 miles at the time of the Sotheby sale so ~2100 miles added by the present owner. $168k seems a bit sporting but folks are likely reacting to the recent Rosso Barchetta sale.
The Azzuro car was from Ron Tokins' personal collection and has 5,601 miles on it. The interior is Avorio. It's as mint a car as I've ever seen. The last listing I have for the Ingrid car was in 2018 @ $107K (but I don't know if it sold then). It was indeed listed in Bonham's Quail auction catalog. I show 6 other Ingrid cars with either Sabbia, Beige, or Cuoio selling since 2016, but all were GTA's. You may be thinking of 121526, which has been listed several times in the last few years.
BTW - there was another M sold at the Quail; Lot 116, a 2001 GTA. $58,240 Bonhams : 2001 Ferrari 456 M GTAVIN.ZFFWL50A210123101 Auction catalog says Azzuro, but I think it's really Grigio Alloy.
My Register has this car as Grigio Alloy over Crema, Daytona Seats and blue piping, Nero brake calipers
i bought my argento/black 456m gt as a (premature) retirement present for myself. it took a few years to get the a/c sorted out, but once i did, it has been a pleasure to drive. big, comfortable, and fast. every time i hear the “clank” of that gated shifter, it adds to the sounds, sights, and smell of this car. the best thing of all are the two back seats for my twin grandsons! the very definition of “gran turismo”. shown here with another italian purebred. less than a dozen of these Perseo cameras were ever made Image Unavailable, Please Login
