Anyone remove this dash component before?
The leather trim that butts against the windshield... with the accent stitching... (not the main large top dash pad.... I mean the thin leather piece that is up against the windshield)

I haven't but from what I have been told the whole dash needs to come off...
are you experiencing any leather issues with that piece?

I am hopeful the whole dash assembly doesnt need to be removed.
I am having all my leather redone to have red stitching

This is a helpful vid on how to remove the top part of the dash, might be able to get it once it’s removed.

Bump. Can the trim next to the windshield be easily removed or does the whole upper dash have to come off? Thanks!

after close inspection when we redid the leather on my dash.... I believe the entire dash needs to be removed to get to that section that butts up to the windshield
