Are you using a 26mm or a 24mm? Hopefully 24 because 26 would round it off and make it almost impossible. If it's stuck you can probably use a little WD40 and if you have something like a pole that you can put on the end of the handle to give you a little more leverage. Mine came off rather easily.
Been trying to get it off by using vice grips on the sender it’s self but no avail Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Hey guys sorry for the delay!!! Yes it was a bit tough to get to, not so much to get off... i removed both air intakes and throttle bodies. I also removed the power stealing reservoir and moved the hoses aside and zipped tied them away from my work area... there’s two small sensors on the left side of the crossbrace (white and brown small boxlike snap on sensors), I removed those also and moved them away to give me more clearance and not to damage anything since I knew I was going to tug on this thing with all my might! With all these removed I managed to use an adjustable wrench. In this forum another tech told me to use a 24mm spanner however it was too thin and was rounding the nut on the oil sensor itself, so I needed to use something thicker and found it at ace hardware 12” long. I crawled over the left side of the car and hovered over the engine, slid the wrench between the crossbrace and engine, adjusted for the oil sensor nut and pulled with all my might!!! It turned!!! Then I just removed and replaced it with my hands. Putting the new one was easy and just tightened it German Tight... That's a lot of ear clamps to replace! "While you're in there", you might as well crinkle paint the oil disareator...
Don’t use sealer. The sender uses the threads as an earth contact. Needs good electrical contact between sender and engine body.
Unless you have a newer TCU or A stradale TCU, i don't believe any scanner can read or set clutch parameters other than factory SD or leonardo One that is inexpensive that will read, reset codes and read a number of data streams but will not interface with the transmission ecu on earlier 360s is the ap200 Other than a stradale TCU i am not sure which year or cutoff for the non stradale TCU would / wouldn't work Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
Ok...wanted something that did self learning and ran through the gears... have you used this one before? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Which ? I haven't used used anything on older 360s so my knowledge on capabilities for that specific models I know a number of people have used the x431 mini or torque but again, although it has the functions on menu i haven't seen or heard if it works on older 360s .. maybe others with a older 360 and a x431 can chime in Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
