Hi everyone. Need to know if the OEM 348 wheels/rims are the same thru out the entire model run for all 348 models. Or does the offset or something change?

Offset changed around the 1993 model year. I would say late 1992 production dates but I am unsure as to the exact month. Certainly all Spiders and GTS/GTBs got the new wheels, that's for sure.

Thanks for the heads up. There's a brand new, never mounted rim for sale near me that i want to buy as a spare. Are there numbers/markings i should look for?

Yes each has a separate part number because of the direction design of the wheels they are 4 specific part numbers. Ricambi America used to have very detailed parts diagrams but I've heard they had to take those down.

Some time on google or ebay should vet out the part numbers

You have a USA Spider, right? It would originally use 156244 and 156242 in the back. The fronts would be 136542 and 136531, as posted by @Meister

Yep! Not so much asking for myself, as I have my OEM wheels out in the shed, but was thinking more about the whole Brotherhood.

Not really my business, but if you buy a single wheel it would only be for one position on the car. Fronts and rears can be mounted and work on either side but will appear backwards if not on he correct side

Correct, but not a bad thing to have a brand new wheel kicking around.

All 348 wheels fit all 348s.

Other people may know more than me about which version that is, but I think it's a late rear.

Thats a rear with the 68MM offset so its not a spyder rear (43MM offset). I think its a pre 93 TS/TB rear.

It seems that all UK/EURO specs 348's had the rear wheels with 68 offset and that the smaller 43 offset (each wheel sitting 25 mm further out) were only installed on USA/CAN spec Spiders.

I think many owners (including me, UK spec 348 TB) originally having 68 offset rear wheels have added 25mm spacers (which bring the offset down to 43mm) for better high speed stability.

Does it mean a Euro TB and a GTB would have the same wheel types at the rear?

This would surprise me as well. I'd think that the GTB/GTS would have the same rear wheels as the US Spider. But honestly, I don't personally know for sure. A good thing for us to find out.
