Has anyone swapped from stock 360 Modena air flow meter (#171707) to the Challenge Stradale (#181120) and if so how noticeable of a difference did it make in HP if any?

plenty of people have done that. I personally can't feel any power difference. To do that, need to flash Ecu , by the way

And change your airbox lids or switch to using silicon couplers with hose clamps

I was told it should be good for 7-8 HP but I didn't know if this can be achieved by just changing the air flow meters or if there were other modifications involved. The Challenge Stradale air flow meters are about $300 each so not sure if it is worth it or not

normal people usually won't notice 10 HP out of 400 HP. I think I can't even notice 40HP. because that 10% bump would be only felt on high RPMs. And on high RPMs , my nerve is focusing on not crashing or skidding, not how much more power im getting.

I get your point, my car is in the shop now for a fresh head job, major service and I am considering adding Fabspeed headers, cat delete pipes, and valved exhaust so just thinking maybe I should go ahead and do the air flow meter upgrade as well. I doubt it would be noticed as well but if its there its gotta be helping I guess I need to decide whether its worth it or not.

    totally up to you then.
Personally, if it is not CS oem carbon air box, i won't do it. I think aftermarkets are all pretty ugly. Just my personal taste.

Can the air flow meter be just swapped out with a tune?

Can the mod be done without swapping the air box? I thought I could just change the mass air meter themselves and use the existing stock 360 Mondena air box.

No because the CS style lids to the maf bolt on vs the 360 style use the clamp style.

no, they are of different diameter, so you'll have to modify the airboxes or replace them. And a flash of ecu to accommodate the larger diameter, or u'll get a cel.

Thank you for your reply.... so if you simply just swap them out you'll get CEL without a ecu flash.?

I have the cs carbon airboxes and the cs sensor and haven't swapped them out yet.

correct. And a nasty drive. the engine runs, but very poorly after maybe 100 miles.

You live in China wright ? Would it be very hard for you to really drive hard ?? At high speeds ? CS mirrors ad 20 more hp at 100 plus miles per hour.

yea. I drive my CS and my Modena in China hard in high speed.
I don't feel any difference in power.
And I felt my Modena's sound is better than CS. weird ha?
