Not necessarily, but, often cars don't come as dialed in as they should be and often first or second owners don't bother to do it, so it never gets done. The tires are good for a certain number of heat cycles, you never know what they did with the car before. So, it just makes sense to start fresh. Can you imagine if you form an opinion of the car and it turns out its colored for the worse because of alignment or tires?

We do have like minded taste...knew you were looking but has no idea you pulled the trigger - when do you get it delivered?
I signed a few days ago and awaiting delivery of mine in a week or two, cannot wait! Xmas comes early.
It will be interesting to compare notes on how we feel about the car.
I agree with Caeruleus, TDF has an interesting setup that may requirement some tweaking with alignment. My friend aligned his several times to get it right.

Absolutely gorgeous. As others have said the TDF is a timeless beauty, especially compared to the somewhat less cohesive 812 design.

 

That makes a lot of sense especially with the TDF.

 

The car has been produced now. In fact, it was produced a few years ago. The F12 TDF is no longer in production.

 

I'm jealous.

 

plastique you pulled the trigger...

i’m curious from searches on various car sites there is not many TDF for sale...this a car that some ferrari dealers that have for sale
but don’t post the cars on line.
I was thinking of calling on the one online that is very stealth looking no shields ....is that a bad purchase without shield?

Personal taste. Tend to see many in Switzerland and Europe w/o shields. Personally I love shield-less examples.

 

True yes there are a few I was offered that trade privately offline....
In terms of the spec, I think it is very personal as many have been spec’d quite wildly. Personally, I like stripe and shields...the painted shields are even more awesome!
