    I’d like to know the function of this unit - see pic. Black part with hoses attached which on my F355 were slightly loose so wondered what type of liquid passes through. Image Unavailable, Please Login

    It’s part of the fuel evaporator system. Fuel vapor.

    Thank you both for your enlightenment. I will surely tighten those clamps knowing it’s fuel/vapor!

    That right angled pipe behind the vapour separator/rollover valve is known to split. Keep an eye on it... although I'm sure a few of us have been driving around for a few years with a split pipe with no adverse effects.
