Thought I would throw up a video of my F8 hitting 1000 miles. Delivered about 6 weeks ago and thought I might get to drive it a week or two but the weather has been good. Coming to an end soon I’m sure. Sorry the video may make you sea sick. LOL

Age, experience and civil streets. I took my GT2 out for a stroll this weekend through 247 towards Yucaipa Valley. Hit 142 MPH. I must admit that it isn't the same. I feel so much better (and obviously safer) on the track and not in my own car. Always afraid I am going to hit an animal or a dirt biker or one of those 2/4 passenger seater crossing the street. The road is very nice. However, there are a lot of dirt bikes and other vehicles in the area. I love driving through early in the morning. Less traffic and less risk. I am much more conscious (mature?) these days about possible consequences. No need to prove how big my WienerSchnitzel is.

The roads I use are always 4 lane divided highway and stretches where there are no driveways or cross streets. If the road is empty like a Sunday afternoon the only danger is getting a ticket.

That is exactly what I am talking about... I wasn't implying you were being unsafe. I was actually saying you were. Maybe with the exception of recording as you drive. But nobody was hurt during the filming of this video. And who has not done it at a given point. With this said... Do not use your phone and drive. Public service announcement.

I have to ask if the Italian Tricolor (decal?) was an option or if you installed it yourself and if so, where did you purchase it. thanks. Great car and enjoyed the video.

It's an option. They paint it on CF steering wheel. On leather steering wheels it's colored leather. They have it also in other colors and top arch only, bottom arch only, top and bottom with short stripe or long stripe. Mine is coming with top arch and short stripe on the bottom arch

Good for you buddy… I don’t know you obviously, but through all of our posts I feel like I do. That was amazing to see how quickly the car went from 70 to 130 and back. Instantaneous. Enjoy it and so glad to see people actually driving these cars!

Thanks I am loving it, the acceleration would have been even greater if I was shifting it, but since I had the phone in my hand I just stomped the throttle.

It does seem like we get to know each other through these forums. Would be fun to have a gathering somewhere so we could hang out and have some cocktails!

Agreed. Going from 70 to 130 and back was rapid and relatively drama-free. The car seems very stable at high speeds. Impressive.

Thanks for sharing these videos. Keep them coming.
