love this .. the quilting on the tunnel and. everywhere the interior is outstanding .. very nice combination ....
The feature I adore is the antiroll bar. Because of the contrasting cuoio on green you see it even better. I remember @Marcel Massini stating those are two different colors 100% agreed. 612 OTO is the perfect car for that color combo

That is a unique color and a blue to, wonderful! Still it looks a bit 'off' without a grey roof. IcemanBops had the idea of a silver roof on his black 599 GTB a couple of years before the GTO appeared with a contrast color for the roof...
I remember that 599 ... As for this GTO , I agree, It looks a little bit too "Gentle" when you know the terrifying sound of the beast
IMO the GTO is quite similar to the Challenge Stradale, both quite subtle changes from the outside, you really have to know Ferrari's to know it's a different version...but my my what a difference with the ''original'' those 2 cars really are! Both the CS and GTO are my favourite of the ''special'' versions.
+1 Add in a drop top F-car and you have the perfect garage. There are interior pics of this car up thread. Blue carbon fiber. Nicely complements the exterior. This car is a real looker...T
I know this is a picture thread but there is no GTO thread..when will they start to go up in value? They seem to be going for <$600k now.
Good Point.. to me the GTO is my favorite of the special editions I know everyone has their favorites .. To me the very subtle changes to the exterior are very nice and really add to the look . However when compared to a 599GTB the GTO has very significant mechanical and weight differences . for one the engine is essentially out of the FXX program with its new Crankshaft which changes the architecture of the engine from that of all past generation V12s back to maybe the 60s races engines ... That flat crankshaft changes the engine significantly .. This along with the other ancillary changes to match up the revised engine design is significant ... This engine is then matched up with the superfast 2 60ms F1 shift make it a very special car... , I personally think the 430 Scud is the mid engine car that most compliment the GTO with similar patterns and both of them have outstanding sounds which now days is going to be getting very important .. as no new car will ever sound as good as these .. Now not to compare but the TDF is also a great car and I certainly don't want to take anything away from that car but it essentially refined what the GTO started as the GTO was the first modern special edition PERFORMANCE V12 that I am aware of .. (the barchetta and superamerica are not performance improvements but still great cars ) So that my thought.. I still would like to buy a TDF.. but not if I have to sell the GTO
Beautiful post. It reminded me of this interesting video out of the UK. They compare GTO to TdF, but there are a few interesting tidbits about the GTO that I didn't know about. T
Larry- Tell me about the flat crankshaft on the GTO. I know the Ferrari V8s have a flat crank, but first I had heard that a V12 did.
Among numerous other Tailor Made options, Nelson's car features the rarest option on a GTO : Silver finish on the wheels. He posted plenty of pics on this thread Image Unavailable, Please Login
