Just a comment on the alignment and valve thing. Alignment on mine is pretty standard. I think my dealer tech might make it a touch more playful for me but you’d be surprised to see in some cases cars come with the alignment out- so you could be starting out not where the factory intended. This can be simply from shipping- the cars get strapped down pretty tight on trucks, boats, planes, etc. On the valve thing- I am not a fan. The prior owner of my car had it and I can easily feel the difference with the valves open or closed. Im sure its the whole back pressure thing. My opinion is if you are going to play with the exhaust you should get an ECU tune to account for the difference in back pressure. The stock system is setup to be a certain way. I just left mine in stock setting. The car is setup perfectly from the factory in my opinion. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
That spec is incredible. Congrats! I also couldn't help but notice the shoes on the wall... Are those game worn Melo 1.5's??? Amazing!
One of the unique features of the F12 family is that the part of the fender that bears the shield is a separate unit that can be changed out. So you can buy a car without shields and then buy the parts with shield stamps and the shields and paint match them. It won't be cheap but its much cheaper than buying completely new stamped fenders. @roma1280 had done this for his F12.
this is a real beauty best of luck ...love your spec ...I think I will need to add one soon it maybe the last of this era...
Not sure now but I think when I looked years ago it appeared you needed to remove the door at the hinges to get to the bolts on the aero bridge. If so you''d need to paint those parts as well?
I think you are right about removing the door but I am quite sure that @roma1280 didn't have to paint anything apart from the new parts. He did mention that getting the color to match was not easy.
Welcome to tdf ownership, the first few miles can be daunting but you will soon learn the car. I have had my tdf for 18 glorious months and 3700 kms and I have enjoyed every minute. As per the previous tweets, check the alignment and tires - I wouldn’t bother changing the exhaust etc as the car is fantastic as is.
