We had GEICO for many years for the house. No issues with them paying on claims (hail damage to our roof). We switched because our independent agent find us a better deal by bundling...T
Tom, did they ever pay you when you tried to fix the gas furnace by yourself and almost blew up the house? I agree if the policy is like mine. If I recall, a $500 deductible would cost me $300 more than a $1000 deductible. So I would have been paying $300 to save a potential $200 if I had a claim (and that's each year). Of course if you are real accident prone, go for the zero deductible!
I do have it for my 458 and I am currently with a specialty insurance company. Previously I was with State Farm and I remember while they weren't too overly expensive, they maxed out at something like $125k value when paying out so some food for thought.
