he seems to be sitting quite high in the car as well. Centre of Gravity will affect that quite negatively.
well, he's not wrong... A1 ring is very short too but the layout makes sense. Bahrain short is just awful in ever concievable way. Just like the 2010 or whatever year it was layout they did....made the whole circuit into a awkward mickey mouse mess with zero flow. The original Bahrain track really is quite good. Turn 9/10 are sensational.
In 2013 , I thought Vettel was very special and Webber a legit championship contender. Now I just think the Newey’s Red Bull were just the top of the field by an important margin , Vettel a lucky guy and Webber a sub par driver. Agree with you, Alonso on these cars would have been unstoppable. Just a matter of circumstances.
With a big big pinch of salt ( Nugnes article ) but who knows .. Simone Resta remains a Ferrari employee, he is just hired at haas like other engineers to avoid losing them because of budget limitations cap. Haas would have decided to separate from Dallara and build his own chassis. Two important names for the chassis and engine will join Ferrari in early 2021. Ferrari would have decided to abandon its indycar project and would consider returning to Le Mans in a form to be determined.
It is a weird track. Granted, I have only driven it on sims, but it is annoying there. I can't imagine how much of a PITA it is to actually experience. It feels like they drew up a bunch of corners on paper squares, put them into a bingo tumbler and went from there. A1 Ring is a blast to drive on sims.
Which sim are you using? I'm not on any at the moment, used to play Assetto Corsa all the time on PC. Here's a couple of onboards I have from the A1 ring in the Porsche 911 RSR. Don't have any vids with F1 hybrid uploaded. And this sounds better (especially the 2nd vid external!)
Because Bottas was faster. Didn't you see the actual speed advantage graphic from F1? He beat Russel by 0.28
