Shadow is behaving in a similar fashion on the Mclaren forum. Common decency would dictate that constantly, obsessively and relentlessly dissing owners' cars is inappropriate behaviour that only engenders animosity towards the poster. He simply doesn't get it. Immediately rush to your Ferrari dealer demanding a refund due to the FACT that the F8 is lacking driving engagement compared to the Yaris and Honda. As evidence print the 175 posts by Shadow claiming that the F8 drives like a Bentley and his opinion, I mean FACT, that you are better served by the Yaris and the Honda.Good luck.

Im sure this is nicer than an F8 . It’s just so engaging with my Nana blasting through the mountains.

 

Please let me know when and where I can take My F8 to a car meet so people can make compare the two and bash the F8 against it.

Yeah , but not better than a Yaris .

 

He is commenting from the position that it is a better street car. He's basically of the opinion these days that there is no point in having a more aggressive car with the power and performance of these special editions. I get what he is saying but dont agree. There is a place for all these models, it just depends on what someone is looking for.

 

He loved it on the track and overall preferred it. It does appear that he has evolved in the last couple of years for a preference for cars that are capable and easy to drive.

 

I’m pretty sure no F8 owner would trade their car for a Yaris.

But, I bet every Yaris owner would trade their GR Yaris for an F8 if it didn’t cost them.

It’s an article, nothing more.

How funny. Maybe it’s just us aussies, but there was meant to be sarcasm in my and I’m sure @Shadowfax post about preferring a Yaris over the F8 post.

For $45k the Yaris is a fun little toy / run around. It reminds me of what the old school Toyota’s use to be. Is it better than a $550k Ferrari? Of course not. But being that I don’t need another, even though beautiful car but mostly useless half a million dollar super car sitting in a garage which I don’t have space for, I can get a fun run around for $45k that I can leave parked outside and if after a year or two I no longer want it, could probably sell it and lose less than the cost of the red stitching option on a Ferrari seat.

 

I’ll tell you what, since you guys won’t be able to get the Yaris in the US, when I get mine who ever messages me first I will do a swap with. Happy to do the swap on either the 458 or the F8.

You can’t get one for $45k anymore. The next batch that will be released in the second half of 2021 will be well over $50k.

I love the hypocrisy. I notice you have no issue continually posting your dislike with sf90 insulting all those here who have one coming but the moment some one expresses an opinion or POV different than your own you throw your toys out the pram like old mate coincid.

I guess if you come from down under it goes with the territory here on fchat the clan is gonna go ya the moment you say you dont think much of their beloved car or you dont find it engaging enough for a sports car. You guys are too funny. The double standard going on amongst your buddies is a joke actually.
And yeah i dont back away from my F8 driving impression where ive said - metaphorically speaking that is - that it indeed shares the same driving traits of a Bentley S to a larger degree as they are essently both luxury sports versions. F8 is a departure from the level of driver engagement usually found and experienced in previous mid mount ferraris and dare i say too far from what many would accept from a true sports car. I have a similar opinion on the 992tts where it too is more luxury than sports. Both great cars nonetheless but that is not my point.

 

Some of you guys are so closed minded to these cars without the Ferrari moniker. If you already have a luxury sports car like an F8 or TTS whats wrong with dipping your toe in the water of something lesser than what you would normally consider fun. Some of these cars are a blast and likely to put a far bigger smile on your face than what you think. If i can get a yaris gr for 60+k im in. Ive already got luxury sports and full blown high end sports so whats wrong with a little lower end sports which has the nod from a line up of judges.
