After switching from 458 to F8, it me a few minutes of my first drive to figure these out: Horn: 458: on the wheel by both thumbs F8: in the center (like every other car in the world ) Continuous blinker: 458: press blinker button briefly F8: press blinker button firmly 3 blink blinker: 458: prolonged press of the blinker button F8: light press of the blinker button Lane Keep Assist and Speed Limit Beeping/Alarms: 458: none F8: super annoying until I figured out how to turn them off
I did love the sound of the 458, but it was a bit “antisocial” at times. My neighbors will be much happier with the new car, and the sound of the turbos is quite mesmerizing when I’m hammering on the throttle. I love it
The power difference of the F8 should be exhilarating! Why does everyone care so much about what the neighbors think about the sound of the car? Outside of straight through pipes these cars are not really all that loud. Plus I am sure a lot of us live in nice big well insulated homes so cars going by can not really be heard or heard all that much.
I totally agree… And I don’t want to be a DI-k, but for me, the sound is all about what I hear. If I’m going 45 miles an hour and my car sounds bananas to me , versus I’m going 100 miles an hour and I can’t hear anything?..... I choose the former all day long Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
